General Information

Mario and Luigi Partners in Time for Nintendo DS is the sequel to The Superstar Sage, and follows the adventures of Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi as they search for the lovely Princess Peach.

In this game she takes a ride inside of a time machine, and gets kidnapped by an alien species known only as "the Shroobs". The 2 brothers have to travel back in time as well, and it is there that they encounter their younger selves, and join forces for the quest.

The game play centers on the teamwork and co-operation between the 4 characters, who must use their specific qualities and skills to solve puzzles, thereby progressing through the game.

This game also features multiple role-playing elements, but with a turn-based battle system focusing primarily on timing and accuracy. Although it is a turn based system of battle, controlling the 4 brothers at the same time can be a very tricky and challenging task.
