General Information

This is the coolest game yet in the classic SM series, and very successfully moves the entire gaming experience into outer space. The game is challenging to say the least, and requires some very unique uses for the console Remote control and the Nunchuk control. It supports up to 2 simultaneous players and can be played in a co-operative mode.

As in many other SM games, abduction and mayhem is at the heart of the plot, and this one is no exception. The evil villain Bowser has kidnapped the lovely Princess Peach, and it is up to hero Mario to find her. He has to travel from galaxy to galaxy in order to collect Power Stars. Each of the galaxies also contains a number of different planets, and plenty other space matter, for the player to explore. The Power Stars are earned by killing off his enemies and completing the challenging quests encountered along the way. The stars are needed to rejuvenate the Comet Observatory that he is traveling around on.

Once enough of the stars have been collected then he can finally defeat the pesky Bowser, and save the day.

Regarded by many as the best SM game to have been released in recent times, you are very hard pressed to find negative comments on the internet about this game. Everywhere you look all you see are 5 star ratings.
